		<description>Frugal Dad,

This is definitely a great suggestion. I have taught online courses before, but it was with a for-profit institution, and things did not work out well. I really enjoy teaching and tutoring (more on this in the future), and would really like to continue down this path.

When I obtained the first teaching position with the for-profit institution, it was before I had my degree. I think that I am more marketable now, and plan on looking to see what is available both online as well as at some local community colleges.

<description>Congratulations on wrapping things up for the PhD! Could you use that to teach some online courses now? My best friend&#039;s wife teaches online courses for a traditional school and makes about $1800 per semester, per class. Might be something worth looking into, because she is able to do it from home.
